As a member of the begging orchestra it is my duty to remind all of you who don't know already to KEEP PRACTICING! We have chair tests every week on Fridays to keep the constant pressure of chairs to THE MAX!!!! -Rock music-

But anyways, this weeks chair test is going to be on either:

Number 36- (essental elements book 2)KINDA HARD
Number 43-(essental elements book 2)NOT TOO HARD

Now, since we have three songs this week, we have a choice between the three of these songs!
the harder the song, the more credit you get! Yay!

But hey, if you think these are hard, check out this list of songs:

The Six Flags of Fun

If you don't know already, the beginning orchestra (and upper members of the orchestra who want to go again,) are going to take a very long trip at the end of the year to the one and only Six Flags Fiesta Texas amusement park in San Antonio!!!

Now as you probably would suspect, we live in Houston, and we're going to San Antonio, thats a pretty long trip, around 2-3 hours there, so for our pleasure, we will be cruising in something called a Charter Bus. So you might be thinking, what's a charter bus? Well, it's like a bus for tourists, complete with DVD players for every seat, a bathroom at the back of the bus, AND, beverages that will be served on the way!!! Isn't that totally SWEET!?!

OMFG!!! LOOK AT THAT! YOU CAN SEE THE DVD PLAYERS, AND THE BATHROOM!!!!

Once we arrive there guess what, NO CHAPERONES! You go in a group of at least 3 people, and do whatever you want!!! It doesn't matter where you go! Just party the Whole day!!!

Now of course, there is going to be a fee to have permission to go there. The fee is a total of 75$ per person. That's the bad news, but the good news is:we aren't paying it! Your mom and/or dad are going to be! Now another important thing, make sure you get up early, the bus leaves at 6:00, so be quick about it!!

Man, i can't wait for the end of the year!!!!

Player bio-Jibran>>>instrument:Violin

Jibran is an 11-year old violinist who originated from Brazos Bend Elementary School. His personality is deeply described as:Highly Eccentric and has a deep phobia of Hugs.

I call it:HUGPHOBIA!!!
(dun dun DUN!!!!)

But besides that, Jibran's current chair is 7th chair in 2nd violin section.
(If you thought it out correctly, he's Ariel's current stand partner. 0.0)
But don't be assuming he sucks yet, Jibran(along with all the other second violins) might be ready to stage a comeback!
Play your violin, get better,
and don't burn down the school in the process!!!

Today in 7th period

As you can see in the title, today in 7th period, we watched a very boring musical called The King and I.
Some other people might like it, but i sure as heck don't. As a matter of fact, i got moved to the back of the room because the substitute teechur thot i wuz talking so i sat back there and fell asleep. The good thing is no one noticed. (Other then a few people) *yawn* oh well. That nap ate up like, a good 90% of the period, so i got something out of it.
Also, if you didn't know already (which you should) there are candy sales every friday for a dollar each different candy, so i bought a stockpile afterwards! :D

I'll be writing up thoez player bio's tommorow, keep commin for updates! and don't 4get to comment!!!!!

Player Bio-Ariel>>>instrument:Violin

Ariel is a happy-go-lucky violinist from Brazos Bend Elementary School who enrolled in SMS and became a Violinist.

Ariel's status in chairs is currently 8th chair i'm assuming in the 2nd violin section.

Her personality is described by our reporter, (yours truly) as a young junior high student who is a constant optimist who stays on the positive side, to brighten up anyone's day, everyday.(Except if you're Gary.....more info on that in future posts)

Here's to you Ariel! Keep up the music!

Philharmonic

Even though the Beginning orchestra is great enough, there are some who are better than us.

I'm not talking about different schools. I'm talking of course about the philharmonic orchestra.
As you should know, the philharmonic orchestra is one level higher than us on that little chart of
music skizzle.

I'll be writing more about the philharmonic orchestra in the future. For now, this is wut there'll be.

Our Conductor

Where there is an instrument, there is a player. Where there is a player, there is an orchestra. Where there is an orchestra, there is of course, a conductor.

Our conductor, Mrs. Ann Victor is the renowned Conductor of the Sartartia middle school beginning, philharmonic, and symphonic orchestra.
After completing the course work for the doctor of musical arts in cello at the university of Texas in Austin, Texas, she went off to become an orchestra conductor for youth musicians.

After the construction and opening of Sartartia Middle School in 2002, she conducted students on their way to musical masteries, while earning many recognitions around the world including a few invitations to the midwest Clinic in Chicago, and UIL sweepstakes awards.

She is currently still conducting at SMS where unknown talents are being revealed.

String Fling

Hello people of earth, aliens of mars, geeks of runescape, if you don't know already, the beginning orchestra is going to take a trip to Wheeler Fieldhouse to perform at a concert called the String Fling!

If you somehow miraculously live in houston Texas in New Territory, make sure to see us perform tomorrow!

Practice only on the days....THAT U EAT!!!
